"The service is always good when I go there. They always treat me with respect and always give me what I ask for with no attitude like other places do. The lady in the morning seems to already remember my order since I always order the same thing."

"The food here is great but they've been skimping on the meat lately and their prices, like with everything else, went up. Their fried chicken sells out quick, soups are good. My favorite dishes are the stew peas with pig tails, curry chicken and oxtails. Hubby loves their jerk chicken and veggies."

"Great service very nice ladies. Got medium oxtail.. bussing (very good) falling off the bone. Sauce is very flavorful. Rice cook to perfection. Got a chocolate cake can’t wait to buss that down. Not a fan of the beef patty it’s too spicy for me but it was hot and flaky. Got a small chicken soup again BUSSINGGGG. Very very pleased. Best Jamaican food I’ve had since living in Hartford for 2yrs will be returning back again again and again!!!!"

"Clean small space business. Used to visit weekly before covid. Needed a quick nearby lunch. Got brown stew chicken rice n peas w veggie. They dont skimp on gravy. Food was hot fresh and tasty as I remembered. Not overly spicy just flavorful. Cashier very friendly. Menu prices not bad pd 12.00 for a small. Parking can be tricky but an easy in and out lunch run. Satisfied my hunger and was able to eat rest for dinner"

"Ordered a medium curry chicken with white rice and plantain Was a 5 star dish The service today was very good. Been coming here for years and the food is always delicious. Another dish I usually get is the callaloo with food. Sometimes I also get the fried fish."

"I got a chicken patty and a beef patty for breakfast it was 7 dollars, for the size of them I feel it's fair and the taste was good. They were piping hot too. No complaints will come back."

"Ordered a beef patty and coco bread, tasted just as it should, beef patty was warm and tasted good, coco bread was soft and warm as expected. The lady who served me was nice and polite with her service nothing more was needed. Seen some other reviews and I think people who don’t grow up in the islands or from a Caribbean background expect to much. Atmosphere rated low just due to outside lingering people but expected in the city and a hotspot strip for restaurants and stores."
